More about me

I am a thirty something mother of two young children and currently pregnant with number three.  I am  a stay at home mum on 1 acre in a small town outside of Geelong, Victoria.

I spent many years working in the corporate head offices of some of Australia's largest retailers in numerous different  roles and whilst I enjoyed my work I felt that I was not doing anything that benefitted the world in any way.  In fact my work was about increasing consumerism which made me feel a little uneasy. I was also overworking my self and not looking after my body in any way which led me to being overweight and feeling lousy.

After a catalyst forced me to turn my life around and start fuelling my body with good food and adding exercise to my routine and losing 20+ kgs I decided that a career in the fitness industry was the way I intended to give back to the world.  About 12 months ago while working as a personal trainer, fitness instructor and nutritional adviser I developed chronic fatigue syndrome, I believe as a result of pushing my body too far ( I like to call it "superwoman syndrome."  )

So I am taking the time now to rest my body and at the same time search for ways to counteract the chronic fatigue such as cleaner eating, simpler living, finding my most optimum forms of exercise and other tools for increasing energy such as meditation, affirmations, compassion and giving back to the universe.  I also want to develop a greater sense of inner wellbeing and will be looking at increasing my spirituality and awareness in order to do this.  Lastly but probably most importantly I want to balance my life so that I can give and be the most that I can for as long as I can.

I invite you to join me as I try out different tools for achieving greater wellbeing and I also hope that I can inspire you to give some new things a try in order to uncover your own best self.
